Epidural Electrical Stimulation

Epidural electrical stimulation (EES) of the spinal cord is a neuromodulation strategy that has been shown in Switzerland to facilitate locomotion to patients with paraplegia. We used it to some patients with paraplegia, with very good results. The costs of stimulators are actually high, thus the method is relatively expensive, if compared to indirect spinal cord stimulation.  This is a option which we are using too.
